A great little book about romantic holiday steamers and the small train that linked them. This book tells the story of "The Smallest Commercially Operated Railway in the world". It was a portage railway1 1/8th miles long. It carried passengers and goods between two Ontario lakes connecting with a Steam Boat service. The book contains many photographs including many of the small porter and tank engines used.
